The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is our most intensive outpatient offering. PHP is designed for individuals who may need structured outpatient support but do not need 24-hour residential care. It serves as either a step-down from inpatient treatment or a higher level of care for individuals who need more structure than traditional outpatient therapy can provide.

PHP offers structured support for coping skills and treatment planning. A transition to another outpatient level may be considered when assessment supports it.

Comprehensive Clinical Care
PHP includes access to a full clinical team, therapists, case managers, and medical providers, working collaboratively to support progress. Care planning considers substance use concerns and relevant mental health needs identified through assessment.
Medication Management
Medication management may be included when appropriate after assessment. The care discussion considers individual needs, current medications, and ongoing monitoring.
Case Management and Life Skills Support
Our case managers help clients navigate housing, employment, legal matters, and other life stressors that impact recovery. We believe healing must extend beyond the therapy room into the real world.
Family Involvement (When Appropriate)
When clinically appropriate and with client consent, we offer family support through phone check-ins, education, and involvement in care planning. We help families understand the recovery process and their role within it.
Integrated Discharge and Step-Down Planning
As clients progress in PHP, we work with them to plan their next steps. Next steps may include IOP, individual therapy, or community referrals, depending on assessed needs.

When another setting may fit better
Understanding the limits of a program is an important part of choosing care. Admissions reviews individual fit and can coordinate referrals when another setting is more appropriate. PHP should not be treated as a substitute for medical detoxification, residential care, or an emergency response. A person who may require medical detoxification or a residential setting should disclose that concern during the first conversation.
